About
I am a passionate Indian bonsai artist but also a writer and educator, whose work is guided by a deep respect for Nature. I believe that bonsai is a living dialogue between the tree and the artist. With a Master's degree in Science and a life long engagement with arts, my approach combines scientific understanding with artistic sensitivity. My philosophy centres on movement, harmony and the patient evolution of the tree through time. I joined Indian Bonsai Association in 1983 and have served two terms as its President. I have been serving as an Editor of its journal since 1991. My articles concerning art of bonsai have been published in Indian Newspapers like Times of India,Indian Express,Hindu and also in various Indian publications like India Today, Woman's Era, Grahshobha etc . I continue to inspire young bonsai enthusiasts through my writing and teaching, and also by demonstrations and workshops in India. For me, each tree carries its own story, and artist's responsibility is to reveal that story with honesty & patience.
